Order Processing Time

All orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.

(Note: If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery.)

How it works:

After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared within 1-2 business days. We will send you an email when your order is ready. Please reply to that email to arrange a convenient pickup time.

We are happy to ship our kits to our neighbors in the US!

All US orders include a tracking number so you can follow your package's journey.

International Shipping

Currently, we only ship to addresses within Canada and the United States. We are unable to ship to other international destinations at this time.

Duties and Taxes (US Orders)

  • Current Policy: In accordance with US Customs regulations effective December 31, 2025, The Thicket Lab does not charge any additional import fees or duties at checkout for orders shipped to the United States.

  • Policy Updates: Please note that international trade regulations are subject to change. Should US Customs policies be updated in the future, any new applicable duties, taxes, or fees assessed by the border agency will be the responsibility of the customer.

Address Changes & Order Modifications

Need to change your shipping address or modify your order? Please email us at thethicketlab@gmail.com immediately!

We process orders quickly. Once an order has been shipped and a tracking number has been generated, we cannot make any changes to the address or the order content.

Unclaimed, Refused, or Undeliverable Packages

If a package is returned to us because it was unclaimed, refused by the recipient (e.g., due to customs duties), or because of an incorrect address provided by the customer:

  • We will issue a refund for the product cost only.

  • The original shipping cost and any return shipping fees charged by the carrier will be deducted from your refund.

  • Please double-check your shipping address before checking out to avoid these extra costs!

Lost or Delayed Packages

Once a package is handed over to the carrier (e.g., Canada Post, USPS, Chit Chats), it is out of our direct control.

  • Delays: Carriers may experience delays due to weather, high volume, or customs processing. Please check your tracking link for the latest updates.

  • Lost Packages: If your tracking status says "Delivered" but you have not received your package, please check with your neighbors or your building's mailroom first. If the package is still missing, please contact the carrier directly to file a claim. We are happy to assist you by providing any necessary documents to support your claim.

  • Porch Piracy: The Thicket Lab is not responsible for lost or stolen packages that have been confirmed as "Delivered" by the carrier, including packages left at your doorstep, mailbox, or front desk.

Checking Your Order Status

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.

If you haven’t received your order within the estimated delivery time, please contact us at thethicketlab@gmail.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.
